SERVICES PROVIDED BY PURE CLEAN MONEY
Contaminated Currency Management
Unfortunately, currency can be affected by a multitude of disaster related situations. Currency can becontaminated by prolonged exposure to water / mold, bodily fluids, sewage or other foreign substances. No matter the type of contamination, our team of vetted, bonded, & experienced specialists will decontaminate the coin & package the contaminated cash for the local Federal Reserve to ensure that every penny continues to circulate as quickly as possible. Additionally, if cash within the facility has not been affected, we will package for transit using the same documentation as a bank employee. Finally, as an ENVIRONMENTAL COMPANY providing this service, our team is OSHA trained for PPE et all, setting up containment, and working in hazardous environments. As such, we do not need to wait for environmental remediation to occur to begin our currency extraction, we can provide all facets of the work concurrently.
Once it has been determined that currency has been affected, our team will supply & deliver all necessary equipment & materials to site. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Cash & Coin Bags
• Cash Straps
• Counting Equipment
• Drying Equipment
• Disinfecting Materials
Drying / preparation of contaminated cash for appropriate contaminated packaging will then commence. Contaminated coin will be cleaned, disinfected, dried & prepared for appropriate non-contaminated packaging.
Packaging & documentation of cash per location (as designated by the bank) based on local Federal Reserve guidelines. Each locality has specific requirements, please find an example of the New York Federal Reserve requirements below.
Packaging & documentation of disinfected / decontaminated coin occurs in Federal Reserve ready amounts based on denomination.
Once complete, our team will prepare all necessary documentation required for reconciliation, transfer & receipt for the bank, the armored carrier & the local Federal Reserve. A final paperwork package is provided to the bank including bag numbers, manifests, monetary counts & all photographic documentation.
Access to all locked & protected areas will need to be accessed based on the size and locations of the event. Our onsite supervisor will then receive all keys, codes, combinations & access necessary to retrieve any & and all cash, coin & sensitive bank materials for proper management. Our team will work with bank associates to ensure that ability to repeatedly lock and unlock all areas throughout the bank, allowing us to maintain a secure environment throughout the process. Our team will then proceed to open all cash & coin storage containers, including but not limited to: vaults, safes, coin lockers, ATMs et all. Photo documentation occurs throughout the process. The onsite supervisor will determine & differentiate between contaminated and non-contaminated cash / coin.
